Judges score a number between 1-10 in all categories for each performer.
Fractions will be used to allow for no ties.
1 to 4 = Poor to below average
5 to 9 =Average to good
10 = Excellent
Categories
Appearance – Appropriate dress, quality and/or originality of attire
Stage presence - Entertainment ability, confidence, connection w/audience
Talent – Natural ability, musicianship, skill level, difficulty and technical ability of selection
Preparation - Apparent time spent in planning, practice and rehearsal.
Entertainment Value – Was it pleasing for the audience?
Maximum (perfect) potential scores per contestant – 50
Judging forms and tabulation sheets will be made available only to the contestant(s) upon request.

Qualified Judges will select four (4) soloists and four (4) ensembles from each performing arts area that includes vocal, instrumental music, dance and the dramatic arts for a total of thirty two (32) semi-finalist contestants.
There will be two qualified judges for each performing arts area. Judges for the semi-finals will come from the collegiate, professional and artistic communities. Judges scores are confidential. All acts will be judged on talent, stage presentation, appearance, preparedness, overall entertainment value and appeal. The judges will be required to break a tie(s) by using the above criteria.
Contestants, without charge or other compensation, give SuperStars of Central Florida LLC the right to film, tape and/or photograph, perform, record, exhibit, display, edit and otherwise use contestants appearance, name, likeness, voice and biographical data for publicity and media purposes.
A copy of competition rules, regulations, release of liability and permission to use photos, tapes and recordings of contestants for publicity purposes of the SuperStars event must be signed before the audition by a parent or guardian of any contestant under the age of 18. All registration materials can be found at the “Registration” section of this website.
Any display of poor sportsmanship and/or unbecoming conduct, interference, disturbance or inappropriate behavior created by contestants, parents, chaperones or supporters of a contestant(s) will result in immediate disqualification of the contestant(s).

$1,500 cash or equivalent recording studio time
Second Place Winner
$1,000 cash or equivalent recording studio time
Third Place Winner
$500 cash or equivalent recording studio time
Important:
If a winner(s) chooses the recording studio time as the prize, the project must begin within 3 months from the date of the finals.
If winner(s) is in dance or dramatic arts, the prize will be a professional photo or video session.
