Adult Rules for Competition
Superstars of Central Florida is a performing arts talent competition
open to all Floridians, 19 and above.
Competitors may audition as a Soloist or as an Ensemble
in voice, instrumental music, dance or the dramatic arts.
Auditions: Saturday, September 25th 12-8 PM
South Beach Dance Academy
129 N. Palmetto Avenue
Daytona Beach, Florida
The audition is not to exceed 5 minutes.
- A piano will be provided for accompaniment or a CD player will be available.
- Ensembles cannot exceed 26 members.
- Bands must bring their own equipment.
- Sufficient time will be allowed for set up.
- A PA will be provided, if necessary, for vocalists.
There will be qualified judges for each performing arts area. Judges for the auditions will come from the academic, professional and artistic communities. Judges’ scores are confidential. All acts will be judged on talent, stage presentation, appearance, preparedness, overall entertainment value and appeal. Any display of poor sportsmanship and/or unbecoming conduct, interference, disturbance or inappropriate behavior created by contestants, parents, chaperones or supporters of a contestant(s) will result in the immediate disqualification of the contestant(s).
A copy of competition rules, regulations, release of liability and permission to use photos, tapes and recordings of contestants for publicity purposes of the SuperStars event must be signed before the audition by a parent or guardian of any contestant under the age of 18.
